Every DSL Northwest also includes a personal web space which you can use for things like creating a web page, making an online photo album, or posting your pictures for use on Ebay.
Your personal webspace is located at this web address (note the tilde character):
The "username" is just the first part of your e-mail address. So for example, johndoe@dslnorthwest.net would have his personal web space at:
| 1 |
Using an FTP client application, establish an FTP connection to the host "www.dslnorthwest.net". |
| 2 |
Use your DSL Northwest username and password to login. |
| 3 |
Put all files that you'd like to be web-accessible in the "web" folder. If you'd like to have a default HTML page displayed, name it "index.html". |
Note that your web space storage is shared with your e-mail account.
