Spam Filter Setup : Netscape
These instructions show how to create a Netscape filter that will automatically move any incoming messages that have "[SPAM]" in the subject line into a separate folder called "Spam". From there, you can review these messages separately from your "good" messages, verify that they are indeed spam, and delete them.

Instructions for Netscape 7 for Windows:
1 The first step in filtering email messages will be to create a local folder on your computer.
From your menu bar, choose File > New > Folder.

2 Type "Spam" as the name for the folder.
3 Select "Local Folders" in the folder list.
4 Click the "OK" button.
5 Now you'll define the filter for categorizing spam.
From your menu bar, choose Tools > Message Filters.

6 Click the "New" button.
7 In the "Filter name" field, type "Spam".

8 Select "Subject" from the first pop-up menu.
9 Select "contains" from the second pop-up menu.
10 Type "[SPAM]" into the blank field.
11 Under "Perform this action", select "Move to folder" from the pop-up menu.
12 Select "Spam on Local Folders" from the folder pop-up menu.
13 Now you can see the completed spam filter rule you've created. Click the "OK" button, and then "OK" in the filter window to finish.
