Conway Stewart Custom Imprint D. P. Manifold Pen

Conway Stewart Custom Imprint D. P. Manifold Pen. This is a beauty. Mottled Hard Rubber cap,
barrel, section and feed. It has the flanged lever and an unmarked lever shield.
The imprint is nice and clear and reads "D. P. Manifold Pen" The D. P. in cursive and
the Manifold Pen in small caps. Imprinted Made in England on a line beneath the main imprint.
The Conway Stewart Patent number for the flanged lever is inscribed around the barrel past the imprint.
The nib is a Unique 14Ct Osmiridium in fine with flex, and may or may not be original to the pen.
No way of knowing for sure since this is the only one of these I have ever seen. There are very few,
if any, marks on this pen. I would rate this one as excellent.

close to original. Gold trim is good, but there is brassing to the ball of the clip. Parker Duofold Deluxe nib
is a nice smooth firm fine. Button filler recently restored, but it has been inked since then. The pen is the
same size as a streamlined junior. Imprint is faded, but still legible.

SOLD

Wahl Gold Filled Ringtop

This Wahl is a #2 size and in very nice condition, except for 4 dents in the barrel and 1 in
the cap. The engraving pattern is ripple. The cartouche is engraved with the initials H R in fancy script
with embellishments. There are also 2 spots showing brassing on the end of the barre; probably caused
by posting the cap. However, in spite of its flaws, this pen has one of the sweetest flex nibs you will
ever find. The nib is a Wahl #2 and is a fine, but will flex to a BB with very little pressure.
It is not a wet noodle nib however. It is very smooth. I won't mind if this one doesn't sell.

Condition Guide

Mint: Uninked/unused. Pen has not been inked or dipped. May still have original chalk marks or labels, packaging and inserts.

Near Mint: Pen has been dipped or inked, but remains flawless. May still have original chalk marks or labels and may include packaging.

Excellent: Pen will show signs of wear, but will be free of brassing, dents and repaired cracks. Will have good barrel and/or cap imprints.

Very Good: Pen will be a bit more worn than the above. May have some more extensive discoloration and or signs of heavier use as in worn imprints and a few more scratches. Pen will still be in good working order. Any flaws will be listed in the pen description.

Good: Pen is probably close to retirement or ready for use for parts. These will still have some redeeming quality that makes me want to keep them in circulation. These will be good choices for someone wanting to check out or experiment with a certain style of pen without going top of the line.

Poor: This is suitable for parts only, and I won't list many of them. These will probably be items that I've had around for a while and want to move quickly.
