My name is John Schwab and I have been collecting fountain pens for about 5 years. The pens, and other items for sale here are those pieces that no longer fit my current collecting interests, or pens that I have multiples of.

My pen collecting habit started, oddly enough, with a mechanical pencil purchased off eBay. It was a golden pearl Parker Vacumatic which I won for the nice price of $17. The person from whom I purchased the pencil asked me if I was interested in the matching fountain pen, and the rest is history.

The focus of my collection has shifted several times in the few years I have been at it. Initially, like most of us I would assume, I went after anything—whether it was in good working condition, valuable or not. Since then, my preferences have changed. At one time I collected Soennecken Pens almost exclusively. This passed with the discovery of Parker Duofolds. The collection then swerved again once a fellow collector (thank you Carla) sold me my first Conway Stewart. I should add that Carla also sold me my first Soennecken. I am once again primarily intersted in Soennecken pens, and a large section of this site will soon be devoted to information about, and identification of Sonnecken fountain pens.

I am also now in a Pelikan phase. If you have items to trade, these (Soennecken and Pelikan) would be the ones I am most interested in.

Please feel free to browse around. I will be updating the site frequently as time allows, and as I decide which items I am willing to part with.

I will take pens on consignment. This is primarily done for those persons who have no desire or time to list pens on their own. I will provide the photos and handle all of the listing etc. If you are interested in having me sell something pen related for you, please drop me an e-mail.
